Update – October 27, 2020: Notice – Effective on October 27, 2020 and until further notice, meetings of the Mayor and Council and Island Heights Planning Board will be Conducted in the Gymnasium of the Island Heights Elementary School on Summit Avenue.  As always, these meetings are open to the public and attendees will be required to wear face coverings.  The schedule of meetings may be found under their headings on this website.  Those attending should park at the rear of the School Building, only the rear door to the building will be open.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Update – October 23, 2020:The Borough Public Works Department will be flushing hydrants throughout the Borough the week of October 26, 2020.  Flushing will occur between 7 AM and 3 PM.  If your water becomes discolored, run the water in your home until it clears. Thank you for your cooperation.

Update – October 23, 2020: Beginning this weekend (October 24th) and for the following four weekends, the Borough Recycling Center will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 930 AM to 230 PM to accommodate the drop off of recyclable materials including fall yard debris.  The Recycling Center will be staffed by Borough Employees who will be checking to assure that all persons dropping materials are Borough Property Owners or Residents.  Thank you for your cooperation.
