NOTICES:
Please be advised that many of the sewer pump stations in town are FAILING, causing sewers to back up into YOUR NEIGHBORS houses!

The issue was found to be that improper items are being placed in toilets such as feminine products, baby wipes, adult wipes and cleaning wipes that many people use in the bathroom. Although he container may say safe for sewer systems please understand THEY ARE NOT.

These items are dangerous to all sewer pump stations and we are requesting that you please stop disposing wipes or any other products in the toilet. The only product safe to be flushed is toilet paper!

If the use of wipes, etc. continues to be flushed then the Borough will be forced to continue replacing pump stations which costing approximately $20,000.00 which will ultimately result in an increase in your water/sewer rates.

Thank you for understanding in NOT using anything but toilet paper in your toilet from his point forward.
