The Island Heights Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, Station 53, established in 1895, has served our community for over one hundred years. Membership consists entirely of volunteers who devote countless hours to training, responding to emergencies, fundraising, administration and maintaining equipment, apparatus and the station.
