Around Island Heights

Island Heights offers many interesting venues for both residents and visitors. You can walk along the boardwalk and take in the beautiful views. During the summer and fall you can shop for fresh produce at the weekly Island Heights Farmers Market.

For those who enjoy the arts, our town is home to The Ocean County Artist’s Guild, the John F. Peto Studio Museum and the Ludlow Thorston Art Gallery and the Island Heights Cultural and Heritage Association.

You can enjoy and/or participate in some of the events that are held in town such as Sailfest, Summer Brew, the River to Bay 5K Classic or the Annual House Tour.

For those who like sailing and boating Island Heights has one yacht club and three marinas.

Residents are encouraged to participate in town activities by joining a committee, volunteering in the Parks Beautification Project or perhaps partake in the Community Garden.
